The First Movement

"We examine the broken, the overlooked, and the uncomfortable. Truth is found by looking at what is actually there, refracted into its parts."

What Prism does

Seeing clearly before anything else.

Prism is where TBG begins. Before a tool is built, before a word is written, before a plan is made — something has to be looked at honestly. Prism is that honest looking. Research, observation, and the kind of thinking that has to happen before anything else can.

The prism metaphor is deliberate. A prism doesn't distort light — it reveals what was already inside it, separated out so it can be seen. That's what this movement does. It takes complex, uncomfortable, or overlooked subjects and refracts them into their actual components: what's really happening, who it affects, why it persists, and what an honest account of it would say.

Prism work is the foundation everything else is built on. Without it, the building is guesswork.

Prism projects

What's being looked at.

Research into how grief actually works — and how the systems around it consistently fail the people inside it.
ND Workplace Toolkit
Research into how neurodivergent people navigate workplaces, and what tools and frameworks actually help.
The Disability Default
How Australian law conflates neurodivergence with disability, what tools exist within the current framework, and what a neurodivergence-as-difference legal ground would need to look like.
Research into recognition theory and what genuinely seeing and hearing another person does — to them, to you, and to the world around both of you.
TBG Research Projects
A collection of broader social and environmental research concepts — cigarette butt repurposing, pharmaceutical waste, micro-grid infrastructure, Sanctuary Villages, and more.
